I got a couple vegan cookbooks in the mail the other day and I'm super super super super excited about my new lifestyle. Too bad everyone that I tell just brings me down. They think it's super unhealthy and I don't even want to start telling them that our ancestors started off as herbivores, not carnivores. I don't care about evolution and why we have incisors. I just want to be healthier and this is my best bet so I can't really fuck it up. I've got my vitamins and meals planned for the most part. It's really not difficult and quite tasty. I love carbs.
Just wanted to rant.

That's really disappointing. I think people just believe that veganism is so radical and make all these false judgments about it. I bet none of these people have ever done any research on it either so their arguments are stupid things like "well I didn't make my way to the top of the food chain for nothing!" In a world where most people are becoming more and more open-minded about things, it's kind of disappointing how closed-minded and ignorant people can be about something like food and health.
where on earth did you read that our ancestors were nerbivores
