pros and cons

some things will never bum me out:
friends,
dogs,
a roof over my head,
a paycheck,
cowboy boots,
blast from the pasts,
jeans & t-shirts,
hope

some things will perpetually bum me out:
school,
lame dudes & girls,
backstabbers,
disappointments,
printers not working,
prescriptions


in other news, i am so stoked on my birthday party. should be a blast. can't wait to see all my friends together in one room. and not to be selfish, but i can't wait for it to be for me. i haven't done anything for myself in a really long time. i am constantly giving but not receiving. maybe something is wrong with me.
